El Sereno Gifted Magnet Earns Model Of Excellence Designation

Congratulations to El Sereno Magnet Students and Teachers for again recieving the Model of Excellence rating by LAUSD

On the spring 2009 California Standardized Test, 88% of all Gifted Magnet students scored at the Proficient or Advanced level in English, 84% in math, 89% in science, and 79% in history. Also significant, 55% of all El Sereno's M/S/T Magnet students scored in the Proficient or Advanced level in English, 43% in math, 63% in science, and 49% in history,
